Two Cedars staff are working hard to protect Residents and colleagues during these challenging times.

Two Cedars staff have continued to work tirelessly to protect Residents, Colleagues and Visitors throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic. We remain Covid-19 free and all Staff and Residents are tested regularly, systems and processes have been reviewed and staff are trained to recognise, report and care for individuals who become unwell either due to Covid-19 or non Covid related illness.

All Relatives have been informed of current visiting arrangements which can be seen on our 'Visiting Policy' by following the link below. Screen visits will continue at the discretion of the Managers. Contact via Facetime, Zoom, Teams and Telephone will continue at Residents and Relatives requests.

Two Cedars is a small Residential Care Home offering holistic care in a homely environment. Two Cedars is Registered with the Care Quality Commission and received a rating of 'GOOD' for all 5 categories during the inspection which took place in September of 2016 see report on our website for further details

Two Cedars achieved the Investors in People Award in 2010 and has now been awarded Gold Status in 2018. Two cedars has been given a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 'VERY GOOD' by the National Food Standards Agency and Borough of Poole.

Built in 1908, it is situated in the village of Broadstone, Dorset. Broadstone offers good shopping and recreational facilities, general practitioners, dental surgeries and a Library. Wimborne and Poole are both only three miles away.

Two Cedars has seventeen furnished, comfortable bedrooms, which are all above the National Minimum Standards in size. They are freshly decorated, clean, well heated and ventilated. Each has en-suite washing and toilet facilities. Accommodation and care is provided for male and / or female residents aged 65 years and over.

Two Cedars has a spacious lounge and patio doors with easy access leading to a large secluded patio and half acre of mature gardens with lily pond and flowerbeds and is available for the use of residents and their visitors.

A communal dining room is available and residents have the option of participating with others at meal times or having meals in their rooms. A fully nutritional choice of menu is provided consisting of three meals a day. Snacks and a choice of drinks are available at any time.

All residents have their own personal rooms, with lockable doors, 24-hour call system, TV and telephone access and are able to personalise them with their own belongings. Forthcoming social and recreational events are displayed on the Residents Notice Board in the Hall.
